2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in a desert

Jeep Announces 2025 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Return

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, famed for its V-8 power, was set to retire after the 2024 model year. However, due to popular demand, Jeep will bring back the V-8-powered Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition for 2025.

Distinctive Features

The 2025 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition boasts unique bronze accents, Mopar accessories, and special commemorative plaques. Initially, only 3700 units were planned for 2024, each starting at $101,890. For 2025, Jeep has yet to announce the allotment or price, but orders will open later this year, with production beginning in the first quarter of next year.

Final Edition Highlights

The V-8 Jeep Wrangler is going out the only way it knows how: with a bang. The 2024 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition is a limited-run sendoff for the beastliest factory Wrangler ever. This model starts at $101,890, offering a range of accessories and visual add-ons.

Exterior Features:

  • Decals for the hood and front fender vents
  • 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with a bronze finish
  • Standard winch, Mopar grille guard, and Mopar rock sliders
  • 0.5-inch suspension lift kit, increasing ground clearance to 11.5 inches

Interior Features:

  • Black Nappa leather seats with gold stitching
  • Special shifter medallion and commemorative plaque
  • Fold-out table and an 83-piece toolkit

Performance

The Final Edition features a 470-hp 6.4-liter V-8 engine, paired with 35-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires. In testing, a 2024 Wrangler 392 Rubicon reached 60 mph in an impressive 4.0 seconds. However, it returned a modest 13 mpg in our real-world 75-mph highway fuel economy test, likely contributing to its limited production run.

Availability

Jeep plans to build 3700 units of the Final Edition, with 3300 destined for the U.S., 300 for Canada, and 100 for other markets. If you're looking to spend six figures on what might end up being the most over-the-top Wrangler ever, orders are open now.

Stay tuned for more updates and information as Jeep announces further details about the 2025 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition.
